Our Deluxe Double or Twin Rooms are spacious, measuring 215 square feet, and feature comfortable beds and free toiletries. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful - everything was fresh, including homemade jam, fruits, veggies, cheese, and meat. They had a crepe maker that made for a treat at breakfast. We had 2 rooms - a double and a family room. Our double room had a very nice balcony overlooking the gardens. The family room actually had 2 bathrooms and a couch and desk. It was very spacious. The location was a little farther out than I thought from Sintra (my fault to think that, not theirs) but was a great compromise because it was closer to the ocean. 😀 Just an fyi- you need to put in WOT Sarrazola in Google to find the hotel, not the address listed... that will just get you in the vicinity.

Special place surrounded by lots of green. Quiet. With lots of space. A huge garden belongs to the house. Have breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the mountains and Sintra. The house has an 80s youth hostel-hotel charme. 10 min drive to the most western point of continental Europe (cabo da roca) with an excellent restaurant Refugio da Roca; 10 min from Monserrat castle, 15 min from Sintra town center. Fantastic, friendly and helpful staff speaking many languages!

'European' Style breakfast provided, adequate selection with fruit as well. Felt very inviting, lovely terrace off the lobby/breakfast area. Very well maintained. Free Parking available. Shower pressure very good. Helpful, friendly staff. Comfy beds, good linen. Closet space exc., good decor. Very quiet area, easy to rest/sleep. Sound between rooms was not noticeable. Pictures on line were good representation.

It is a lovely old hotel in the mountains just inland from the coast. The room was quite nice and there used to be a pretty formal garden in back to stroll around. Small villages and towns are nearby within easy driving distance. Parking is on site and there’s a good ramp from parking to the patio outside the lobby, and an elevator to the rooms.

Pleasant hotel. Family room for 4 was really large and comfortable for 3 adults and 1 kid, we even got 2 bathrooms in it which made things easier for us. Staff was always helpful and very nice. Our little one loved the piano and even had a cute surprise at the end. Breakfast was also great, there was a very good real bread.
